Aegean yachting

Aegean yachting

Besides the ancient history on Delos, Santorini and other Cyclades islands, the island of Crete harbours an impressive amount of archaeological sites and is ideal for Aegean yachting in Greece. Unfortunately the vast majority of yacht charters start at rather a large distance, for instance in Athens and there is simply not the time to sail up and down towards Crete in a two week itinerary. Therefore, more and more the Aegean yachting starts at Paros island or even in Santorini or Milos, which allows a visit to Iraklion or Heraklion, the port from which a good deal of the ancient sites can be explored. Another great option is to start from Rhodes island, but in all cases the island of Crete will be the southernmost point when on an Aegean yachting holiday.

Luxury charters like crewed catamarans and motorsailers and gulets are available from Kos, Bodrum and Rhodes.
